Term of Office thru May 2013
Tom Renk has been a Sugar Grove Village
resident for the past eight years. He was first elected in 1999 through
2003. In 2003 he was appointed to the Plan Commission. then in Feb. 2004
he was re-appointed to the Village Board to fill the unexpired term of Perry
Clark, who resigned to become the first Economic Development Director in
the Village. In 2005 Tom again ran for and was successfully elected
to a 4 year term of office.
Tom Renk has been active in local government for many years. He served as
an Elected Alderman in Wauwatosa, WI. from1982 to 1986, and before that
served on the Wauwatosa Board of Zoning Appeals from 1977 to 1982.
Mr Renk co-owns a trade association management company with his wife, Karen.
He has three adult children and resides on the north side of town.
The mission of the Village of Sugar Grove is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for all of its citizens. The Village of Sugar Grove shall provide efficient and effective government services in a fiscally responsible and courteous manner. While committed to this professional level of service, the Village must weigh each individuals needs against community standards and resources, to determine what is in the best interest of all its citizens.
