Census Job Applicant Testing

The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring people to work in temporary jobs. The jobs involve going door-to-door to interview residents. Job applicants are required to take a skills test and undergo a background check. Most jobs require U.S. citizenship, a driver’s license, and use of a vehicle.

It is simple to apply; all you need to do is show up for testing.   If you wish to fill out an application in advance to bring with you to the testing site, please visit the US Cense Bureau’s web site at  2010censusjobs.gov to print out an application or for additional information.   You will need to bring two forms of federal identification with you including a photo I.D. Testing will take 1 to 2 hours.   Testing is scheduled at the Sugar Grove Library, the Quad County Urban League and the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union.  Please see the attached flyer with dates and times and addresses.
