Refuse, Recycling and Yard Waste Information
All containers should be
at the street by 5:30 a.m. on your pick up day. Containers (cans or
plastic bags) may be up to 32 gallons and weighing no more than 50
pounds. Cardboard boxes may not be
used as a container. Set garbage and recycling
on the same side of the driveway (opposite of your mail box
post). Set yard waste on opposite
side of driveway, same side as mailbox.
One (1)large item is
allowed per week; excluding "white goods" (as defined by the
Illinois E.P.A. as refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, air
conditioners, humidifiers, stoves, clothes dryers, ovens, dishwashers,
water coolers, heat pumps, chiller, furnaces, and boilers)

Waste Management West currently provides weekly curbside garbage and recycling collection for Village residents.
Scheduled pickup days vary within the Village - pleasecontact the Village
at 630-466-4507 extension 11 or Waste Management at 1-800-796-9696 to find out the date of pickup for your address. The monthly charge
is included on your water bill. Trash should be on the
curb by 5:30 a.m. on your collection day and must be in a maximum of 33 gallon
plastic bag(s) or garbage can(s) and weigh no more than 50 pounds. If
you have an item that is large or odd shaped please call Waste Management
for preparation instructions.

The following holidays affect the refuse pickup schedule delaying pickup by 1
